We have provided several answers to some commonly asked questions concerning the BEST WESTERN PLUS Hospitality House New York and our Neighborhood. We hope this will assist you in making your travel plans to visit with us.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The cancellation policy at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Hospitality House is 4:00 p.m., TWO days prior to your arrival date, unless otherwise specified. The cancellation policy for groups is outlined in the contract and may vary from group to group. If you made your reservation through a third-party (not with the hotel directly), you must cancel your reservation through that third-party. The hotel is not authorized to cancel third-party reservations.
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO I NEED TO MAKE A GROUP?
To be considered a group, you must have a minimum of 5 rooms, with 10 to 15 people.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN?
Check in is at 3:00 p.m., but you are welcome to store your luggage at no charge if you should arrive early on your arrival day.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?
Check out is at 11:30 a.m., but you are welcome to store your luggage at no charge if you will be departing after the 11:30 a.m. check-out time.
IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Parking is available for guests at an off-site garage, (777 Third Avenue) but is located on East 49th Street, between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue on the left side just before Third Avenue. (212) 753-5178. It’s a short half block walk to the hotel. Mention that you are a guest and ask our reception to validate your ticket at check out. Parking charges are paid to the garage directly and the rate is currently $35 per night; $45 per night for oversized vehicles with no in and out privileges. Street parking laws are very restrictive everywhere in NYC including around our hotel. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended on 49th Street as enforcement is very swift. Read all parking signs carefully.
DO YOU HAVE ROOM SERVICE?
We do not have room service; however, we do offer a complimentary breakfast in our lounge every morning. Additionally, our guest room suites include a fully equipped kitchen for your convenience so that you can prepare snacks or meals whenever you would like.
ARE THERE SAFES IN THE ROOM?
Yes, we have safes in every room. They are free of charge; however, we require a $25 deposit for the key to the safe at the front desk, which will be refunded if returned upon check-out.
ARE THE ROOMS AIR CONDITIONED?
All rooms are air conditioned during the appropriate seasons.
DO YOU HAVE WIRELESS INTERNET AND, IF SO, WHERE CAN IT BE ACCESSED?
Yes, high speed Internet via Wireless or Ethernet is available free of charge in every guest room. Wi-fi is also available in the Lobby, which is also free of charge
HOW CAN I GET TO THE HOSPITALITY HOUSE FROM THE AIRPORT?
The easiest way to get to the hotel from any of the New York Metropolitan Airports is by taxi, a $45 flat rate from JFK, metered from LaGuardia and New York Liberty). Private cars can be hired by calling the hotel (212) 753-8781, with flight details ready for reservations. Private services can provide sedans, SUV’s, vans and limousines, depending upon your needs.
